The Shipping Yards is designed to house, hold and transport up to 10 people for intimate, multi-day gatherings. It’s a compound of cargo containers. set end-to-end to form a privacy wall, consisting of sleeping pods, a kitchen, large communal space, and bathhouse, They are efficient and indestructible, because the weather can be tricky up here - high winds and extreme temperatures.
Designed for year-round use, the outdoor Quonset shade structure is the perfect activity space in the Spring and Fall, when the conditions are mild. When its hot or cold, we move into the Doublewide, our indoor, air-conditioned communal area. With wood floors and views to the Park, it’s an inspiring place for movement, ceremony, and hanging out. There is a communal bathhouse with 2 showers, 2 toilets, steam bath and dual vanities. Plus communal kitchen, chill areas and multiple firepits.
The centerpiece is our 53’ saline lap pool, complete with jacuzzi, and the only Watsu bath in the upper desert..
We offer many spaces and amenities in which to engage - desert adventures, inner journeys, group inquiry, mindfulness, movement, and of course, fine dining, leisure and relaxation. The desert is a place of stillness that fosters connection with self - and each other.
